I tried to go through on TooSerious and update draft picks. Not sure if lists are entirely correct, so probably worth checking.

I think full team lists can be posted to the dedicated thread rather than in here, if you feel you need to. But otherwise I thought the objective was to just make TooSerious the database for managing team lists. We do need to come up with a working system for Waiver Wire picks through the season.

I wasn't sure whether we wanted to use that fixture. I note that it skips the bye weeks, which we traditionally don't, and I'm not sure whether we will have the ability to go and edit scoring in TooSerious. Are you aware if that can be done?

I can mirror it if we need to, that's not an issue at all.

Yeah I had a quick convo with simonoz a few weeks back and he suggested following:

Schedule: As we have 10 teams, shouldn't it be a season of 18 matches (everyone plays each other twice) - Skip the three bye weeks (There is a mini 4th bye week with two teams out but who cares), which would then leave three weeks for finals.

18 + 3 Byes = 3 finals = 24 week season

So I just rolled with that. Play the Gold Coast/Cats bye in rnd 13.

If play through byes then do we finish season earlier or have more minor round games?

I agree with a home and away (18 match) season. I do think there is some merit to finishing the season early. I feel that at the very pointy end of the year some clubs will rest key players while others don't, depending on their ladder position, and it can significantly impact our teams and matches. If playing through the bye weeks gets us to the end of finals around R21 I think that works really well.

Have word that TS chief is working on our league set up. There’s still hope.

Ok so TS on field structure is set up for our league.
Unfortunately the chief hasn’t had time to do the coding to enable
captx 2.

So question is, what is preference on the capt situation in order to move fwd?

I see a couple of options off top of my head:

• see if TS manual recalc can be done post-round to incorp capt x2 (could be onerous to happen for every round)
• investigate option of adding another mid slot and duplicate your capt on field (have asked if this is doable)
• scrap capt x2 for this season

Open to suggestions and/or thoughts on above.

The Captain problem - I dunno, IF it can be manipulated easily (as per Barta's email to Les on TS) then that's good.
Personally I'm non plussed if we have to do away with it for now. Small price to pay for being fully automated - schedule, results, ladder.
