I just saw this news. RIP to a great man and physcist. As a fellow physcist he was a true inspiration. If there is an after life then I hope he lives in peace and happiness.

Sort of disgusted to see how many people try and cash on the passing of someone for internet points.
RIP Dr Hawking.
Not a bad innings for a guy that was not expected to live past 25. He made a great contribution to science in his time.

Holy s**t. Not even a week ago I was telling my gf about Hawking, and vividly remember telling her I have a strong feeling he's going to die within a few weeks. Obviously he didn't have long left.. but still

I don't know the guy, but somehow I am saddened to hear of his passing. He was an inspiration to many that he achieved so much given his circumstances.
