Just finished Brandon Jack's "28".

Really excellent! Never read another sports memoir like it. There's much more to it than "just" footy.

And very apposite reading in the light of last Saturday's result. I was left in no doubt that Brandon tried his absolute guts out every single time, as did/does every single other Swans player.

I strongly recommend every Swans fan reads this book. The kid can really write!

Troys got the sharpest elbows in Sydney AFL - and I say that with a massive amount of respect. Played against him when he was at Balmain. Kicked a bag that day to. I swear he will play untill hes 70 and still be kicking goals in Sydney
 
Not close enough to get decent photos of the ceremony itself, was a great night though.

I agree that it's a good book and he writes well. I haven't finished reading yet (can't help posting already, sorry) but I'll probably post again after I finish.
