Bronze in the pool – Melissa Wu in the 10m platform diving!

But omg the celebration of the tiny little 14yo from China when she did her last dive and got almost perfect 10s, the coach picked her up 'like a trophy' and just about threw her in the air 🤣🤣🤣

If there's one sport that I just don't understand it's the 20km waddle. Can just imagine little kids watching it on TV thinking "I wanna do that when I grow up!" 🤪

When I grew up (80s), we had 3 blokes waddle past our house every day. We were always kicking the footy on the road and would dish of a handball religiously to them. I think 2 of them ended up representing Australia in the Commonwealth games.

Ash Moloney is still in the medals in the decathlon.
Only has about 60 points up his sleeve. They were saying to beat the guy in 5th he will have be within 6 seconds, so to beat the guy currently in 4th you would think he has to be within 4 seconds🤷🏻‍♀️.
Would be a shame if he missed out after all the good work he has done.
Race on at 10.40, not sure if they have the top ten run against each other or if the guy in 4th will be in the second heat 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yep all credit to him, sacrificed his own thing to coach the kid to our first medal in the decathlon. Think they said we’ve never even placed top 5 before in this event
 
The Kookaburras. I love this this team, so successful and so humble. Tim Brand, who had a great tournament, was one of the players carrying the drinks to the huddle at one of the breaks. They just get on with it. Proud of them and their tradition. I like Tracy Holmes too.

Bronze looking unlikely in the basketball. Boomers will have to dig deep and out-think the Slovenians.
