Just had a look through my all-time albums lists, and Blood on the Tracks was the only genuine comeback album in there.
I've decided to go with;
PJ Harvey - Let England Shake
Following her critical and commercial success in 2000 with Stories of the City, Stories of the Sea, PJ released 2 middling albums. 11 years later, she returned to form with a somewhat concept album that won her a 2nd mercury prize, and rated towards #1 in many 2011 year-end lists.
Not her best exactly, but a refreshing release, and a great comeback album.
Bolded songs are the most memorable tracks.
