PIEMAN RESULTS RD 7 v Freo

A miserable 10 goals scored tonight. Only 3 of them after half time. Only six goalkickers. You don't win many games of footy with those sorts of returns.

Normally that would mean a pretty low Kelvin winning score too. But not tonight!

Carryover Teams and Pieman Substitutes

There were 14 carryover teams this week. The only Pieman sub needed was for ScottyDogg who had Libba, a late withdrawal. The sub was Weightman which didn't really help him.

The KELVIN

The big score tonight came from ossie_21 whose carryover team of 3x Dale, Weightman and West racked up 218 points. A couple of good scores for second and third too. Bont2Bruce returned to form with 160 (3x Darcy + 2x VDM) and Shacf501 came third with 146 (2x VDM, 2x Darcy + English).

The median score was 54 and the average was 60.74




The PIEMAN
No change at the very top this week but ossie has come with a silver bullet to claim fourth spot. Our leader is still chez_ferret with an unchanged lead of 17 over Buckingham . Bulldog rick is now another 41 points back and then ossie just ahead of Bont2Bruce.

put in another good performance and showed he can also kick straight from set shots, earning him a PPotW. With accurate shooting like that he's obviously not cut out to be a WB forward.

Best possible score was a 3x Dale and a 2x Darcy for 276.
Best possible Chump was Dale+Darcy+Vandermeer+English+Naughton which would have given you 238 pts (170 base score and 68 pt bonus).



Pieman Player of the Year

The two leaders failed to kick a goal this week, so Naughton, Darcy and West all made ground. It's getting quite close but Cody clings onto a narrow lead.
