Currently in Montréal for work for a week.
Quite a few different craft beers available.
Most so far have been good.

Saw an ad today for Angove Organic Sauvignon Blanc, which proudly stated it as being vegan friendly, which had me thinking how can any wine not be vegan friendly? When it's "made using processing aids that contain milk, egg and nut products", that's when - ie just about any bottle of wine you have in your cellar.

Worth it. Nice drop, bit sweeter than most bourbons.

Good call, cracked the bottle the other night to drown my sorrows after this happened to my Charger…..

Who says it doesn’t rain in the desert….
No drainage and my car is a write-off.

The Elijah Craig was good though!!

Espresso Martini using this as the main ingredient.

Not too bad, a bit on the sweet side but I also added 1/4 Oz of simple syrup which probably isn't needed.

1/2 Oz, Frangelico
1-1/2 Oz, Vodka
1-1/2, Coffee Syrup
1/4 Oz, Simple Syrup (probably not needed, add more vodka or coffee syrup if required)

Shaken with ice, strained and poured into a martini glass.

Frangelico espresso martini is a good shout

Shittest brewery in the world

So not a fan then.....
I like their stuff for a bit of a change.
Obviously in this part of the world we typically mainly see mainstream imports ie Heineken, Carlsberg, Amstel, Corona, Hoegarten, Leffe, Tiger, San Miguel etc etc.

Very limited here for anything resembling Craft beers (and yes I know these guys are mass produced)

Yeah, not big on BrewDog but in Dubai it must seem like an oasis in a desert of s**t lagers.

Found some Rogue Dead Guy Ale this week.
Enjoying a few while watching us smash the Bombers

I used to see that a bit in Adelaide a decade or so ago. I haven't seen any Rogue for quite a while now. Solid beer.

Just made a New York sour with an Jim Beam base spirit and Pepperjack Shiraz topper.

Very dangerous cocktail considering the double shot of bourbon in it but no taste of alcohol. Lemon and simple does a huge job masking the alcohol burn.

Very interesting flavour profile but would love to try it with scotch.

If you haven't, try a 'Godfather' sour: a whiskey/amaretto hybrid. End result is better than both. Boozy quality of the bourbon and the sweet touch of the amaretto.

Yup.
Still here.

It is uncomfortably hot. So beers are needed more at the moment.
