Sometimes I curse my ear for music. Listening to this song it lilts along and then, suddenly, a snippet from a Beatles song appears. I hear it a couple of times and I know it’s a Beatles song. So I’ve got to listen again. To my surprise it’s not a song by John. It’s George’s ‘Something’. Quite appropriate given the song.

Watched a doco on The Doors on iView at the weekend. Seriously ****ed up partnership which could play when the focus was turned on. I love this effort from LA Woman. It’s The Doors with some friends playing live in the studio. It’s awesome. Morrison is on the cusp of death and singing the blues like he’s at the crossroads.
