Best day is Wednesday. Shows on PBS are run in 2 hour blocks. 11am is The Malt Shop - sort of classic doo-wop going back, 1pm is Jumping The Blues - just the best blues music and 3pm is the longest running Soul Music show in the world. Vince "The Prince" Peach has been hosting Soul Time for more than 30 years. So good.

Jumping The Blues is a cracking show.

Agree with you about the Wednesday line-up, a heap of really good retro roots stuff, really easy to listen to and enjoy.

A friend of mine from school is the host : http://pbsfm.org.au/thesoundbarrier

Every time I go to Melbourne, I bump into Phil and we talk music and our radio shows : http://pbsfm.org.au/sunglasses

Been listening to Gomez today, as it's the 10th anniversary of the release of How We Operate.
This is probably the pick of the bunch. I love a band that has more than one lead singer and the contrast between Ben and Ian's voices is awesome.

I won't bother posting any more vids, but if anyone wants to check out more, I'd suggest some of the following:
Get Myself Arrested
Revolutionary Kind
We Haven't Turned Around
Rhythm and Blues Alibi (perfect example of the raspy Ben and smooth Ian vocals)
