Personal lifeIn 2008, Kirk was given the honour of meeting with the Dalai Lama during his Australian tour in which he presented the Dalai Lama with a signed Swans guernsey. His nephew Sean Beath is a young star on the rise and Sydney are looking to draft him at the end of 2008. [1] Kirk is known as a practicing Buddhist and wears a tattoo of a Buddhist symbol on his back.[2]

Is this Kirk's nephew or the Dalai Lamas's nephew?

If this kid is anything like Brett Kirk then we should sign him ASAP.
 
He actually is kinda similar to Kirk.

Small midfielder who's finds a fair bit of the footy and is fearless in his attack on the ball. Like Kirk, isn't blessed with skill or pace, but makes up for it with his intensity/work-rate.

Having said that, he's not eligible until the 2009 draft. Not a certainty to get drafted or anything though.

He played U17's for South Adelaide this year though
