I watched Zookeeper last night. Very powerful film. For those who haven't seen it it's set during the war (Germans and Jews) It shows the destruction going on around the country and amazingly for some part of the film the Zoo and its zookeeper stay sheltered from it all until this little jewish boy and his mother take refuge in the zoo and the soldiers come looking for them.
Normally i don't hear about half the films till they actually come out on Foxtel and am unsure what year this one came out but i am wondering if it won any awards when it did?
There was one problem with this film. Maybe i am a sick person but seeing people hanging and blood spattered on everyone doesn't concern me half as much as when i see animals getting harmed or dead. Bugger warning people about sex scenes and drug use i think they should have a warning about animal harm.
