In a fitting tribute to one of its greatest figures, North Melbourne Football Club has announced plans to honour dual premiership coach Denis Pagan throughout its home games at Marvel Stadium in 2024, dedicating the southern end of the ground as the ‘Pagan End.’

Denis Pagan, a true legend of both the club and the AFL, left an indelible mark during his time with North Melbourne. His playing career spanned 120 games from 1967 to 1974, showcasing his talent and dedication to the blue and white stripes.

However, it was Pagan’s return to Arden Street as a senior coach in 1993 that truly cemented his legacy. Over the course of 10 seasons, he coached 240 games, leading the club to premiership glory in 1996 and 1999 and earning the prestigious title of North Melbourne Team of the Century coach.

In addition to the on-ground tribute, Denis Pagan will also be celebrated at the club’s President’s Function pre-game, ensuring that his remarkable contributions to North Melbourne Football Club are remembered and cherished for generations to come.
