    I still don’t really understand opening round. How exactly does it grow the game in northern states? I could maybe understand if it was a week earlier with the NRL in Vegas, but there’s games in Sydney and Brisbane that weekend which will get all the media coverage. How does not playing games...

    I'd say it was fairly knowledgeable. It was a bit flat without as much reaction for the ROH matches at the start, but once the main card started most of the crowd was really into it and across all the talent and storylines

    I did think it started a bit later than it should've given the show wasn't broadcast live anywhere. An 11pm finish at the same time as a sold out concert next door made it even worse. Could've started the ROH matches at 6:30 and finished up an hour earlier. Was a really enjoyable night though...

    Yeah some poor batting doesn’t mean the pitch also wasn’t unacceptable. Feels like ever since the criticism of some flat decks years ago we’ve had a few go too far the other way the past few summers
