Opinion STFU, We're going to beat the Hawks this weekend.

I sure hope you're right. Brother is simply a casual Hawks supporter, but now that they're up and going he's all over them. All I have heard out of him (and will continue to hear until late on Friday night) is how they will overrun our "injury-depleted, average anyway" side......

We're up to 9 now?! Crikey. After a few months of living sans-bigfootyskyscrapercity/facebook sites I managed to achieve better in school at an important time. Deleting my facebook account also=great decision. Liberating :D. Good to see some things don't change. Like Gibbsy's avatar. May have...

scratch the name change , its not what the oldies of this board remember me as.\ Up s**t creek thanks to some not-so-smart trade ins in mid season and am resigned to finishing 8th, or worse still, dropping out. Lessons have been learnt.

Subbed Magner in for Coniglio, Giles for Cox and Cameron for Milera. Cameron didn't even play. The Milera and Coniglio moves alone have cost me 81 points if you look at differential, and 6'6 Cox has already outscored Giles. 2000 points easy this week but could have been so much higher.

News Saints to play ANZAC Day & home matches in New Zealand

New Zealand played at Carisbrook Stadium in 2008, 09, 10 and 11. The indoor stadium in Dunedin was built because Carisbrook's facilities were inadequate for an event such as the Rugby World Cup (think Victoria Park minus any atmosphere).

How many others of you have Stanton. Is a favourite of mine, so I made sure I had him in my squad at the start, and I've been laughing ever since. Worst return he's given me was 77 on ANZAC Day. Broke the DT record (I'm pretty sure it is) with 193 yesterday arvo. Shame I didn't go with my hunch...

    Discussion FGD Dream Team league

Paid the starting $532,000 for big Cox and he's lost almost $100,000 value. Hamish McIntosh gaining $100,000 in value compensates for that. Last 3 weeks I've sat back and watch Giles outscore Cox on my bench, so I'm very tempted to sub in. Adding to that the fact that Kreuzer is out...I'm taking...

Thought this thread may need a bump. I've been away all around the place for quite a length of time but have kept an eye on my DT and seem to be going okay. Who is the Raging Bulls? I seem to be facing off against you. Best of luck ;).

Has Essendon missed the NZ bandwagon?

Not an exhibition match. Saints play Swans or Lions on ANZAC Day for Premiership points supposedly. The whole "obsessed with rugby" line is such a myth. The national side may pull a viewing audience of 1m every time they play. As the national side and with their history, so they should pull a...

News Saints to play ANZAC Day & home matches in New Zealand

Sorry to wade into an opposition board discussion, but even as an Essendon supporter, if the Saints were to go ahead with this initiative, I'd make I sign up to any potential membership package and make the trek from Auckland to Wellington, and encourage footy-watching mates and family to do...

Luke Ronchi to quit cricket in WA/Aust

The whole journeyman team doesn't bother me so much, but picking players to represent New Zealand who don't deserve to does. If he can prove himself playing for Wellington in Plunket Shield and Watling doesn't score any runs at the top level in his second go at it, I would not mind if Ronchi...

    New Zealand v South Africa (3 T20s, 3 ODIs, 3 Tests)

Forecast was sunny and 23 during the day, so around 20 degrees come 7pm? Looking forward to the first ball. The lack of any pace in the NZ side is disappointing, so hopefully the spinners can get the job done.

NEW ZEALAND vs ZIMBABWE SERIES (1 Test, 3 ODIs, 2 T20)

To be honest I feel its good for Zimbabwe to start off back in the fold against us and would be happy to see them come here the next couple of summers, it can only be good in the long run. Ireland should really be given test status to "even out" the playing field too. Though I have a feeling...
