    Hird has done some assisting at GWS and Port Melbourne. But it's a hard no from me. I have some empathy for Hird. Was he naive or a blatant cheater? Probably somewhere in-between. At best he was the the leader of the club he took the word of some shady characters that it was all above board...

    The best real life example is from.the World Game with Jose Mourinho who got sacked from Chelsea only to return years later and get sacked again. He's also about to get a 2nd spell at Real Madrid. I'm absolutely not in the camp of "Hird needs another shot at coaching Essendon".
