I’m not sure we need one to be honest. Hudson O’Keefe and Lewis Young can easily play the 2nd tall forward/relief ruck role. We’re a lot more dynamic now with the likes of Hayward and Ainsworth supporting Moir, Motlop, Evans, Harry, Zac etc in the forward line. -

Strange game, we never got out of second gear and honestly port never got out of first gear. Not sure how much to take from it but it was good to see young players like o’keefe, young, lord, cow and Ollie take some strides forward today. Also special thanks to chief for the upgraded seats! -

We were like bees to the honeypot all day which allowed GWS to get the overlap handball away. It’s a simple mantra to instill to the players. Either the playing group are not following basic instructions or our coaches have got it horribly wrong. Either way is incredibly concerning. -

Is Sydney's dominance at the SCG a little overstated? They're 1-3 this year (losses to Hawthorn, Port Adelaide and Brisbane with a win over GWS), plus they're missing some genuine guns. I'd call this game pretty close to a 50/50 contest, depending what version of Carlton turns up. -

Exactly! If we played Hawthorn, St.Kilda or arguably the dogs in the first 4 rounds we’d have beaten them. Conversely we couldn’t get near the lions at the Gabba in our second stint there. You play whoever’s in front of you at the time. If you’re good enough you’ll prove it in September.
