    Autopsy Round 7, 2018: St.Kilda v Melbourne

Can it be for a coach? Plugger?

Jason Dunstall vs Tony Lockett - who was better?

That’s a great summary. But your argument also points to Plugger’s greatness. As I posited, Dunstall got everything out of himself and Lockett didn’t. But I don’t necessarily agree with it all. Whilst Lockett wasn’t the greatest trainer, from teammate reports, he trained like he played...

Jason Dunstall vs Tony Lockett - who was better?

He had a very personal relationship with Brad Fox. Buckets had to step in to save an opponents life that day. On iPhone using BigFooty.com mobile app

Jason Dunstall vs Tony Lockett - who was better?

OK, I just realised that my post in the old thread was moved out on its own to this poll. The original thread was good reading. Closed to replies now after my 3 year bump. https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/jason-dunstall-vs-tony-lockett.1068102/

Jason Dunstall vs Tony Lockett - who was better?

Interesting to note in the 1985 - 1998 stats Dunstall played 42 games more for an extra 75 goals. If Plugger played the same amount of games he would have kicked an extra 218 goals. 145 more than Dunstall. What boggles my mind is that I don't think Plugger got everything out of himself. In...

Jason Dunstall vs Tony Lockett - who was better?

After watching the crap spewed up by St Kilda this year I have taken trip via YouTube trip of the golden years of the early 90's. Gee footy was good back then! Dunstall was an amazing footballer, not just a Full Forward, but a pretty complete player. In players I have seen, he is one of the...

    AFL 2017 - R2 - West Coast v St Kilda, Domain Stadium, 4.40pm

Umpires smiling as they went off. Looking forward to their line up for 20 odd polishes I guess.

1st Preliminary Final: Collingwood V Geelong

I think Geelong are seeing how many of them can qualify for the diving team in Delhi

AFL must act on war of words

I like how there is some kind of belief that what happens on the field stays on the field, or is just in the heat of the moment. As if that means that all self control can be lost and immediately be excused. I wish I could walk around abusing people with no fear of repercussions.

Who is the WORST kick in the AFL?

Jayson Daniels!! He was unbelievable. I saw him try to have a bounce and the friggin' ball went sideways out of bounds. It was stunning. Commentators at the time mused if his woeful ball drop could have been the cause of his inabillty to kick. Loved ol' Jack, hell of a player. T urd of a kick.

Times 2 players kicked 8 in a game?

Not quite 8-8 but I rember this game when it was a game of 2 halves. Plugger kicked 7 in the 1st half and went off injured so big Stewie stood at FF and nailed a lazy 8 in the 2nd half. http://stats.rleague.com/afl/stats/games/1992/141519920620.html good times

    The St Kilda Triangle

lol.. I'm with you. When I look at a ladder I still have the reflex action to look at the bottom first. It's like christmas when I remember to look up a bit.

    Round 4 - Port v St. Kilda

Too weak the Saints. How Princess Fiona gets a game ahead of Goddard is beyond me. X Clarke showed he will give us some spark but too many players without heart and courage for us tonight. Aussie has left a big hole and with an unfit Kosi and absent Gehrig we were totally exposed across half...

Shane Crawford on $800 000 a year what a joke!

I understand entirely where you come from. I just mean that players that can maintain the level that people like Harvey et all have been able to maintain should deserve more than where they are forced by the salary cap.

Shane Crawford on $800 000 a year what a joke!

I actually think that if anyone is to be payed over the magical half million, then it should be players like Crawford that have given so much to their club over such long periods. I, for one, would be very happy if Robert Harvey was the highest payed player at St. Kilda. He deserves the money...
