Isn't everyone overacting a bit. I mean, having two guaranteed gun mids that could help us contend is better then 2 mid-late firsts and a couple of seconds. Those picks are all going to be 50/50 anyway and we haven't exactly been connecting with the late first round picks the last few years anyway. -

Our backline struggle because our midfield had long periods of time where they couldn't win a centre clearance meaning that the opposition was able to get the ball inside 50 before the defensive structures where set up. -

Pickett and Stack have to be upgraded to the senior list from the rookie list and with Taranto possibly coming in, that takes the Edwards, Caddy and Lambert spots. Aarts and Parker are Rookie listed so that isn't going to add spots to the main list. Unless trades happen I think we only have room... -

IDK know how they did it, but they were linked to those free agents before reports of Grundy being traded came up so they clearly have the room. Maybe they front loaded or back loaded contract or players took under, IDK, AFL contracts are flexible. -

They have space to re-sign De Goey and for two free agents. they are trying to offload Grundy so they can fit the third (Taranto). It isn't like a couple of years ago where they had literally no salary cap. they want to dump Grundy so they can get another expensive player in. -

Yep, I get that but our midfield needs him more then our fwd Line, he is a player that you play fwd as a Luxury if the midfield is great. But if not the 10 more disposals he would provide in the midfield over his replacement would be more impactful to get wins, more so then his extra goal over... -

I understand that, but most of the other players that can play small Forward are good enough for a goal a game. Would you rather have the one extra goal he provides over his replacement, or ten extra forward half damaging disposals he can provide which can help create offensive flow and chances...
