    Ovens & Murray discussion 2023

Ladder: 1:Yarrawonga 2:Wang Magpies 3:Albury 4:Wang Rovers 5:Wodonga 6:Lavington 7:Myrtleford 8:North Albury 9:Raiders Think that is how it well end up at the end of H&A season. The top 6 being a class above the bottom 3 with Yarra leading the way. Rovers might drop a few games in the H&A...

    Ovens & Murray discussion 2023

I don’t think they went out of their way recruiting him, he just wanted to play footy with his mate Prime Train. Also I think the fact that he has 160 k followers on insta is probably worthy of an article due to the exposure he will bring to the comp around the rest of Aus Sent from my...

Ovens and Murray would become too small wouldn't it? I'd also say the Raiders have been pretty competitive besides this little down period they are going through.

    Ovens & Murray discussion 2022

I can see why the Raiders would be upset but we can't act like they didn't do the same thing with Hodgkin a few years back and also Muller with North. It's probably an indictment on how bad North have been, but they lost Muller, Taylor-Nugent, and Mannagh all to other clubs in the comp and...

I think having a playing coach is ok, as long as you’ve got experience around them and on the bench game day to help them out. Also it’s pretty important for the clubs that don’t have the coin like Yarra etc to have their money on the field Sent from my iPhone using BigFooty.com

I just think those two a long with a few other clubs have nowhere near the sponsors backing the club or the money to compete with the likes of Albury, Yarra, Wang etc. So when those Talangatta/Hume league clubs come calling the players take the $$ and also have a better chance at winning a flag...

Didn’t see the article, what was said? Pretty ordinary if he was pot shotting other blokes.. You can’t blame those blokes for leaving with the way that clubs been. Maybe he’s just salty he didn’t get the offers they did $$ Sent from my iPhone using BigFooty.com

Says a bit about Muller but In saying that, Albury’s offer would be too good for any Ovens and Murray player to turn down. Would also help when you’re going from a bottom side to a club that is constantly contending for flags. Sent from my iPhone using BigFooty.com

Agreed. Not the player's fault at all, probably great opportunity for his family but it leaves raiders in the crap. North and Raiders really seem to be miles behind the rest of the comp post Covid. Wonder if they'll be able to become competitive again, I worry if they can't field sides again...
