    I think there should be some sort of buffer given to the team coming up with the points systems (an extra 5-10 points) to ensure that they can bring in some quality players and be competitive. As it is a big jump from Div 1 to Premier, nobody wants to see clubs coming up and getting smashed...

    I reckon all these people who are 'umpiring bashing' should consider actually umpiring a game themselves and see how they go. I'm sure there would be members in the crowd the wouldn't agree with every decision they make.

    Scoreboard stay as it is the league deals with this during the week, not a things for the umpires on the day to do, they take note of the score and time of game and headcount numbers

    G Great insights subway I'm sure the umpires (most who weren't born in the 80's or early 90's) go out there each week and say I'm going to pay free kicks to WC because of what happened back in the 80's & 90's

    So you think 2 clubs in Div 1 to have 10 teams Div 2 to have 9. Assuming Parkside is correct do they slot into Div 2 as well? Old Essendon would be a eye opener for them with player payments coming into calculation for the club.
