    Breakout player for 2026

Ramsden Thought his games towards the end of last year were very good and he was unlucky to get omitted. Not sure where he fits in and has a tough task to break into the forward line but I think he is up to the task.

Welcome Welcome to Hawthorn: Ollie Greeves

I have the feeling the coaches want to keep expectations under wraps. However I have the feeling Ollie is going to be something special.

Autopsy 2025 Preliminary Final: Hawks get rolled

Geelong were given a dream run of matches into the finals where they could manage their players. How these fixtures are compiled are a mystery to me. Compare that to Hawthorn run into the finals, there is no comparison. All I can say is if you follow AFL you have to be prepared for these sorts...

Preview First Elimination Final (2025): GWS Giants v Hawthorn, 6 September 2025, 3.15pm @ Engie Stadium

I was feeling quite confident of a win. However after yesterdays effort by BHH I am not so sure?

Autopsy Round 24, 2025: Lions get the chocolates

Anyone at the game. Impey had low possessions in the 1st half. Was he tagged and who was tagging. Thought we lost a lot of run last night compared to his recent outstanding games.

Hope we can bring the same intensity as the Collingwood game.

    Preview Round 22, 2025: Hawthorn v Collingwood, 7 August 2025(Thurs), 7.30pm @MCG

If that happens Bruest will be in the starting 22. So will CJ come on for Bruest or a tall???

    Preview Round 22, 2025: Hawthorn v Collingwood, 7 August 2025(Thurs), 7.30pm @MCG

Selectors have lost the plot. Hope I'm wrong. CJ on his last chance. Not against his selection. Hope he can justify his selection. I am CJ fan. Comeon CJ I know you can do it. His inclusion will have a considerable influence on the result. I would expect him to run and carry like the CJ before...

    Preview Round 22, 2025: Hawthorn v Collingwood, 7 August 2025(Thurs), 7.30pm @MCG

Well I was wrong with playing four talls. Not in that game. Not on that ground. However I still reckon it would work but needs more time. Anyway my thoughts on next week. Meek cannot be expected to carry such a heavy load he is getting burnt out. Should have rested Reeves this weak and played...

    Preview Round 21, 2025: Adelaide v Hawthorn, 1 August 2025, 7.40pm @ Adelaide Oval

I'm in favour of playing 4 talls. Each player is different to the other players. All are mobile and can play different roles. This makes us very dangerous and difficult to plan against. I would expect all 4 to play this week at the very least.

Autopsy Round 12, 2025: Hawks get swooped

A saying comes to mind goes Jack of all Trades Master of None. Sam seems to want the former.

Autopsy Round 12, 2025: Hawks get swooped

The press conference should be interesting. Sam has said on a number of times we know how the opposition play. If they do they sure don't no how to counter it. Well and truly OUT-COACHED tonight. Look at the team statistics and we seem to be okay except tackles were terrible but we get...

    Preview Round 12, 2025: Collingwood v Hawthorn, 7:40pm Fri 30th May MCG

I guess i'm stating the obvious to me Elliot needs to be kept quiet. His play over the past few weeks has been top shelf and when he is on he gives a big lift to the rest of the side. Also of course Daicos needs to be kept quiet. The rest of the Collingwood midfield are slow, they rely on quick...
