Great stuff Yabba. Even Robbo at the Herald Sun embellishes at times, but in the end its his opinion.
That what BigFooty is about... opinions (and rumours, jibes alluding to a lack of prowess? ha ha)...
Agree that Miti are on the slide.... the 2011 cup is between Bridgewater and YCW for mine.
1. talking about Kyneton being shit
2. referencing the abbatoir
3. starting sentences with "I had a mate once..."
4. Referencing BenFL on a Bendigo thread, beacuse u don't want to confuse yourself with BalFL & your beloved "Sunba"
My sidey-senses are telling me Kings Army never left...
Well Disco... Bridgewater 13.14.92 were DEFEATED by YCW 15.9.99
That's 8 in a row for the Eagles. defeating Bridgewater at home is great news for the competition! Mixes it up a bit!!:thumbsu::thumbsu:
Fair to say the YCW Ball tonight will be rocking :D
I love your tunnel visioned opinion and loyalty to Hill, but I think you'll be disappointed when they finish 3rd yet again.
Interesting to see PHill and Bridgey reserves are rubbish this year. They'll need to keep their senior side fit, that's for sure. YCW look to have the best all-round...
I reckon Serp could surprise Bridgewater a bit.
To be honest, I actually think all games have the potential to be close.
Pyramid are capable but I think are downhill skiers, rely on too few... their games against Bridgey and YCW are what I'm referring to.
Who knows what Marong and...
fair point Clew... only problem I have with the above is that I would seriously doubt any player at Inglewood would be worth money elsewhere. G Abbott loved forking out cash for spuds. He now works at McCains in Ballarat, yes?
Great result for Serp on the weekend ... mixes the competition up a bit.
YCW look to be hitting their straps ... Gard, Cronin, Doc O'Connell playing 2's and a few to come back from injuries
Matt stagg's best mate so possible. Injury prone, probably won't train during the week, just sit in the square... oh, and he won't come cheap. Good for PH overall, means Davies can play further out from goal permanently
Re: LVFL - Part 3
hmm, yeah ok, whatever. See you commented about Alex Galea (FROM SOUTH) on the Bendigo thread yesterday... so that makes, what... 98% of your posts about South Bendigo??....and the other 2% about Bridgey - incidentally when all the South Boys went there... and you're not a...
Re: LVFL - Part 3
going on your past posts, you're probably one of the aforementioned 'south boys' or a south supporter or both....
so do tell... how is their recruiting / retaining going?
Re: LVFL - Part 3
At the start of 2009 (you may remember the back page article in the Addy Mark "I'll have another Flipper please" Adamson announced Davies was staying at Square)... then the next day Davies did the backflip and went to Mounts for $1500 a game as Ass Coach (money well spent...
Re: LVFL - Part 3
Hmmm, bagging his former club (that he won awards at, no less) says a lot about a blokes character. But it's cool, we all know what yr like, you just keep confirming it. How about u just concentrate on getting a kick for NthBgo magoos ... now get back to counting...
Re: LVFL - Part 3
Think you might be right after what I heard over the weekend... couple of big names and a few others who will go well in LVFL seniors are in the mix to go to YCW, who have had a massive recruiting season and not done yet.
also heard Mitiamo picked up a few decent BFL 2's...
agree Albury... w/ yr Sandhurst analogy that is. They are no hope for top3 finish, let alone a flag in their 150th year (unless Snake is set to unveil a heap of big names which I doubt) so may as well build for 2012/13.
