I think what he was saying was he'll be named in the team tomorrow but is no certainty to play.
They need to name him in case he can play.
Does that make anymore sense?
In the last couple of weeks I've really come around to the idea of bringing King in for Blake. I saw Kingy in a VFL game weeks back (his last before the knee op?) and he was excellent. If he can play that role in the seniors, I don't think many people on here would argue he's a better option...
I reckon Jimmy is great odds right now (shame I put a few on while he was in a bit). He played at least two or three best one ground games early in the year. I wouldn't rule him out. Let's hope he has a massive last two months of the season.
What actually is the criteria for the rising star, does anyone know? Is it based on how good a player's season was or who is more likely to go on to become a better player?
Pretty pointless from the club to play these mind games. The VFL game is right before the AFL game. Kangas are going to know that morning whether King is playing or not.
Grima is a rookie-listed player, can't play seniors unless he's promoted. Been in good touch in the VFL though, kicked a couple of bags the last two weeks and should have had another the week before against Sandy - kicked about 1.5 that day.
