That’s unusual isn’t it?
I get that when at Yarraville he was restricted because of his role at the Western Bulldogs but if been appointed Altona senior coach so nothing prohibiting him from playing if he is fit and willing.
I would have thought you’re either playing or non playing not just...
What’s the big issue with it being on a Sunday this year?
Suits me, my kid has basketball GF Saturday so it’s saved me from having an uncomfortable conversation with him about missing his basketball game 🤣
Both PC and YSE have recruited some great players who have been great for the comp but don’t underestimate how instrumental their juniors coming into senior football have been.
The WRFL would most likely tell them to take a long walk on a short pier.
WRFL are not missing St Albans or Deer Park.
8 team divisions is not ideal but this is the most even season for a long time in both div 1 & 2.
Werribee undefeated so you couldn’t possibly tip against them but Spotswoods form had been pretty good of late so in saying that I think every game this weekend is a genuine 50/50.
WD, PC, Caro & Alt all favs but it would not surprise me if any 3 of them get rolled.
I was told he broke his ankle and that he most likely wouldn’t play again this year and who knows beyond that.
It’s a big loss for Yarra as I also heard he’s been great around the club with their young talent and some coaching and leadership stuff.
PC May have been stiff but that’s footy and need to move on from it pretty quickly because they are playing Caro @ Caro this week.
As another poster said it’s great seeing a pretty even division
To be fair that bottom side is likely to be at the other end of the ladder this season.
Yarraville/Seddon will drastically improve too, I’m told from a strong source that Jared Polec has been outstanding around the club with their young talent. Is that not growth??
