    The Players will only get the opportunity if not enough players are nominated from the Under 18s. Last year i think all but 1 or 2 clubs nominated players. This left the possibility for Mazenod to nominate two boys and also for the likes of Kew, Ormond and South Melbourne. Anyway back onto...

    The Under 18 rep side is an invitational side. Each club in the under 18s nominates 2 or 3 players for the trip. If not all teams nominate players, the VAFA will then speak to other clubs and get nominations from them.

    Not sure if you were watching the reserves or seniors, i didn't know there was a number 26 for STBM in the seniors on the weekend.

    Barnhoorn played 19s for St Bedes coming back from a shoulder injury. Won't see much action in the seniors until he gets fit again. The other youngster was Darcy Holden, played a few games last year. Good shot for goal and could make an impact this year.

    Beaumaris looked pretty good, good mix of old players and also new players coming up from 17s. The same names from last year pop up with Dickenson and Webber up forward. Some of the new players, Schubert, Blee and Cumming all looked pretty good. If they play well, i think Beaumaris will be up...

    Was a very scrappy game at keysborough, st bedes missing a few players because of work or uni. Tim Wigney, ex st bedes boy dominated through the midfield, going to be a big loss for the tigers. Will be interesting to see round 1 against beaumaris. Who has praccy matches this weekend?
