Player Watch Rory Laird - Re-Signed to End of 2027

Needs to handball more. Considers himself a great short kick but he’s really not. As a mop-up player he’s still very good. But he can’t be our best offensive defender anymore and part of that is he needs to know his limitations.

    Opinion Non-Crows AFL 13: Offseason

Well said. All those morons have to do is have opening round teams play each other in round one and the same for non opening round teams. Countless players will cramp up this weekend. That’ll be us against Collingwood who already have a game under their belt.

Game Day Opening round is here - HOLD!!!!

My report from today’s Crom match sim for those interested. Post in thread 'Bigman’s Training Reports (Update: 6th March)' https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/bigman%E2%80%99s-training-reports-update-6th-march.1375180/post-90929858

Bigman’s Training Reports (Update: 6th March)

They made Rankine and Ah Chee sprint full-pelt which I doubt they would do if they were worried. Can’t say for sure but I think Ah Chee plays. Peatling did a fair bit but not quite as much as the other two, meaning he would be touch and go (which makes sense given the timeline). I suspect they...

    Position 2026 Rookies

I think there are enough def rookies who aren’t slightly inflated and who may have better scoring potential. The coaches like him though so his JS is pretty solid.

    Position 2026 Rookies

Cook and Bond both played A’s today, although those missing were: Ah Chee, Thilthorpe, Dawson, Hinge, Rankine, Peatling and Milera. However we only played with 17 players for the A’s and Hinge is virtually no chance for the first couple rounds, so I think both are likely starters. Bond a...

    Threadmarks: Training 6/3/26

Last true match sim of the pre season. Amazing how quickly it goes by. There were some notable absentees which makes it a little hard to get a read on things selection-wise. The skipper was a complete no-show but I see above that he was sick. Meanwhile the rehab group was quite extensive...

Bigman’s Training Reports (Update: 6th March)

Marsh finished training with some ice on his ankle, hopefully no syndesmosis or anything.

    Injury 2026 Injury Update

Looks like Nick Murray felt something in his left hamstring. If there’s anything there it would rule him out of round one at a minimum. Bond also didn’t train. Not sure why. Marsh also a watch - tweaked his left ankle and had some ice on it at the end of training.

Bigman’s Training Reports (Update: 6th March)

Won’t do a report today - I’ll do Friday for sure though - but a few updates. Nick Murray appeared to have some left hamstring awareness late in the session. Bond walked laps with Thilthorpe. Not sure why, maybe also a back issue? Pedlar hurt his finger marking a ball. Thankfully returned after...

    Opinion Non-Crows AFL 13: Offseason

We only lost by one scoring shot yesterday. So theoretically we really only lost by a point. Also Marsh kicked one OOF. So really it was a draw. Edit: Oh and Tex missed one straight in front he would normally kick so in actuality we won the game.

    Opinion Non-Crows AFL 13: Offseason

There ended up being some great value key forwards in the 2024 draft. I would’ve taken Shanahan as early as top 12 that year, no idea how he made it to the pick he did. Whitlock also slid too far.

    Opinion Non-Crows AFL 13: Offseason

No club bullies shite teams like the Powa. West Coast fans would be feeling rather ill right now.

    Opinion Non-Crows AFL 13: Offseason

Awful kicking plus not being able to defend on transition is a recipe for disaster.
