It is at least realistic that he would leave his current club. I expect he will be highly sought after by strong sides. In a strong side he could be a star. He’d be a great target for Carlton who I reckon are one gun mid short.

There’s pipe dreams (being most of the players we get linked to) and there are those well beyond pipe dreams. Holmes leaving Geelong to come to Hawthorn was well beyond a pipe dream.

Much needed win. Played a very good burst in the second quarter. Probably eased off a bit in the second half but a comfortable win against a terrible side. The main thing is the hope that it generates some confidence for key guys who have been in poor form - Newcombe, Sicily etc

Much improved half of footy. Midfield on top and every time we enter 50 against that disaster of a North defence we look like scoring with ease Hopefully go on with it and provide a confidence booster to a number of blokes who have started the season so poorly
