My pointis that Slattery actually impeaded fev in mid air and did not have eyes on the ball .Fev free kick ? Can someone please explain why a free kick was awarded to essendon when fev flew for the mark ,surely the ess player went back and jumped into him ,taking away any chance of marking the ball,couragous yes but really he interfeared with the player who only had eyes on the ball in a marking...- biscay

IMO reportable...no free kick...yes?If afl are saying all head contact is reportable why do we see players coming off each week under blood rule ,usually head face region yet most dont result in reports,its getting confusing, -
