My apologies... I’ve seen the error of my ways. I will dutifully wear my mask on my daily walk on 35 degree days in summer and will no longer query why the person slowly jogging past me does not require one.
By the way, I don’t live in Melbourne.
If so see one more person on social media arguing that we should wear masks absolutely everywhere going forward, because many people in Asian countries like Thailand do, I’ll spew up! They obviously haven’t done a comparison of the population density of Bangkok compared to Melbourne’s!
I’m in Torquay and anticipating the usual massive influx starting in December. I may be an exception, but I’m not concerned in the slightest. The way active cases are tracking, they’ll quite likely be in single figures by the 1st of December.
Also, come Nov. 9, I’m heading up to Melbourne for...
Just drink beer for the entire day and you can ditch the mask!

Even if the interstate borders reopen, how many people from outside Victoria does Dan think will holiday here in summer if they know in advance that they’ll likely have to wear a mask the entire time, as compared to holidaying anywhere else in the country and not having to bother?
Just watched the part of the presser and his exact words were - “the public health team, they’ll provide us with advice, but I’ve tried to be pretty clear with people, I’m a hold out on this”.
Sounds like a captain’s pick to me!
I predicted prior to the second wave that we’ll still be wearing masks at the end of the 2021 flu season and got some quizzical looks from people I ran it past. Starting with my partner, some of ‘em are now starting to think I may not’ve totally lost my marbles after all!
