I think it was an okay deal made better by who we got for him. But Kennedy is better for being under a better system at the Dogs. He wouldn’t be as good if he’d stayed. -

We had too many one paced inside mids and it seems like Kennedy fell out with Voss so he was the one. A shame as he was one our few mids good at taking a contested mark and slotting a goal. We have done very little right over the past 20 years so it can only get better from here, right? -

they don't need to be stars to be captain - Tom Harley, Nick Maxwell come to mind - we seem to pick nearly our best player every time - Kernahan, Bradley, Kouta, Judd, Murphy, Cripps etc - Sticks was a born leader but many of the others were introverts -

I don't think we were that close to a flag in 2023. We weren't super impressive v Sydney but scraped in, and we got lucky beating Melbourne too. That year should have been Melbourne's flag until Maynard wiped out Brayshaw in that disgusting act that turned the game. -

I agree except for one thing. I think Wayne Brittain was a good coach. Circumstances got him. Bolton might have worked out had Neil Craig stayed ☹️ -

Arguably their prime development years were wasted at Carlton and it was too late to remake them at other clubs a few years into their career.
