    Natural forwards need to develop as a forward. Natural defenders need to develop as defenders. Given Port have recent history of failures to develop tall players, Cochrane needs to play in his best position from day 1.

    Agree with this. Also don’t think Carlton finish bottom. Richmond and WC are terrible but won’t sack their coaches, so nothing will change. Essendon are improve but on same level as Carlton. Out of the bottom 6, I can see GWS rising and unfortunately Port dropping. It really is a two speed season

    I agree Port are likely a bottom 6 side. But you understate Geelong and Adelaide. Doubt they miss the finals or the wildcard round.

    It was 9-3 with about 8mins to go in that quarter. So that was a 2-8 run of frees. And couple of those to Port weren’t there.

    actually really enjoyed that quarter. A really entertaining defensive game. Port probably needed another goal, Adelaide will come hard in the second and they have decent last quarter legs.
