I really believe some players can find something 'extra' when they play at the highest level. Maybe Stevens could be one of those players?
Also, the size of Hunter Holmes really struck me yesterday. With some of his efforts I agree looks like lots to work with there.
I don't see how Stevens has any less pace than Worpel. Like you say he's just got a lot going for him, and he did play pretty well from memory when he debuted last year. I hope he gets another shot before the year is out.
I rate Humphrey highly too, be great if we had a crack at him in the coming years. Also, having a Humphrey and Humphries in the same team. That'd wreak havoc on poor old Gaz Lyon's working memory.
I'm not sure Kolo is a beacon of hope when it comes to disposal under pressue in D50. But I get your point, Humphries has looked off the mark like many others when it comes to skill under pressure. Like others have said, Last QTR v Crows Jhye Clark would have come in handy today.
Such a sloppy game from us, apart from Bowes, Smith and Neale most others had stinkers. It just had to be a point off Gunston's boot to put them up too - just hilarious.
Bruhn needs to crack into the beta blockers at the break and get some composure. He's not alone in that though but he's looking panicky.
Edwards so good
