    SFNL Division 4 2019

Were you expecting to find Paul Roos coaching in division 4? He’s a past player in his first year as coach. It’s very easy to take potshots on here at someone giving it a go.

    SFNL Division 4 2019

Do you seriously think that Moorabbin players live anywhere near Moorabbin? 90% of our players live at least half an hour away from the club. The majority are down Frankston/Seaford/Carrum Downs area. Getting up to Moorabbin from these suburbs at night for training can take over 40 mins. Its...

    SFNL Division 4 2019

Agree with that, but the buck must stop with the paid officials from the league. It’s their job to record and correct the scores at the end of each quarter. Unfortunately the league have decided to deflect almost all of the blame on the volunteers, instead of their own employees. This is a...

    SFNL Division 4 2019

The SFNL posted the result and statement regarding the Moorabbin/Lyndhurst game on their Facebook page. They’ve since deleted it after realizing they look completely incompetent. What a joke of an organisation.

    SFNL Division 4 2019

The statement put out by the league Is the biggest joke in all of this. They are shifting nearly all of the blame on the timekeepers. These are people in volunteer roles at local footy clubs. The blame should be solely on the goal umpires. They are required to keep the score and confirm them...

    SFNL Div 3 2017

Unfortunately for clubs like Dandenong and Sandown, they're closer to these high growth areas like Hampton Park, Clyde etc. However they're only now facing the same challenges that other clubs in the SFNL have faced for years. Moorabbin, Black Rock, Hampton, Highett, East Brighton, Bentleigh...

    SFNL Div 3 2017

I can assure you everything was done to try and get a side on the park. It's not an ideal situation but it was definitely a last resort. You never want to have to forfeit a game. Its tough on the available players who miss out, and it's especially disappointing to the opposition who miss a game...

    SFNL Div 3 2017

Players who think they're worth money never stay. It happens every year and especially in div 3. Way too many ordinary players get paid. It just drains the club.

    SFNL Div 3 2017

What I was saying was, if clubs had the same amount of money to spend as it appears Doveton do, then they would. Not necessarily on one or two players. However at least paying extra for players like Kerr and Robertson might bring money back into the club. Paying 10 "decent" players every week...

    SFNL Div 3 2017

If he plays he'll draw a crowd and run rings around everyone else in the comp. Can't see how it could really hurt a club sitting in div 3.

    SFNL Div 3 2017

I'd rather be paying big bucks to marquis players like Kerr and Robertson than overpaying mediocre park footballers who think they're worth more than they are. At least Kerr and Robertson might bring some exposure and revenue to the club. Everyone bagging Doveton should be honest. If their club...

    SFNL Div 3 2017

Thats a tough assessment by judging a 20 second video filmed in February, but I guess we are comparing it to the lofty standards and equisite skills usually seen in Div 3 SFL footy.

Div 3 Southern football league 2016

There's definitely an argument that some players who play well in a poor team would struggle in a better team. You could also argue that some of those guys would actually play even better in a good side, with better players around them. I don't think you can just dismiss players from the lower...
