To Swan or not to Swan - Captains Thread Finals Wk1

Arghh...have no idea who to choose!! Boyd - average record at AAMI Swan - may get Ling Bartel - has let me down a couple times Monty - not 100% at the moment Selwood - unique....will be too uneasy picking him Goddard - again...not sure Goodes - i don't know!! I give up. I hate DT -...

    Round 18 Scores and Discussion

2158 - very happy. Top scored the league for the third time in the past 4 weeks! :) This was despite Hodge's, Scotland, Enright's, ROK, Cox, Higgins, Brown and Hendersons underperformances. Good to see the rest of the team can carry these guys! And also having to sit Bartel and Pods on the...

    Round 18 Scores and Discussion

1321 / 13 + c [14 - really]. Happy with selwood, rocky and goodes today. Disappointing enright, ROK, brown. On track for 2000. Would love 2100+ right before finals (esp. since I have Bartel and Pods sitting on the bench) Overall - fairly content...so far.

    Round 18 Scores and Discussion

    Goddard, Gilbert, Monty and Stanton. 400+ = Awesome 380 - 400 = Good effort 360 - 380 = Expected par. <360 = :mad::mad::mad:

    Vent Thread (Part 2)

You can always expect Geelong to rest players in the last few rounds. For example, getting Chappy always buys the risk that he is going to be rested. You "know" that before getting him, yet people elect to get him anyway. With this knowledge - you must have good coverage! Your shooting...

    Vent Thread (Part 2)

This has been my worst DT week ever! 1,886 - pathetic! I lost to ruddy Graham Cornes because of this! Random Question Thread (Part 3)

I think you can expect him to score high 70s, low 80s if his role continues. How many more rounds do you think it'll be before Swan doesn't meet his b/e and falls a little in price? I'm basically waiting for him to fall to the 500k mark before I can afford him!

DT Trading Discussion 2010 (Part 6)

Depends on where you are sitting in the league. Can you afford to lose a couple of games and still make finals? If not bringing in Cox means you miss out on finals - then definitely do it - no brainer there. If you can afford to lose last two games (or your side is strong enough to hold...

DT Trading Discussion 2010 (Part 6)

Sorry to all you knowledgeable DTers, but am I missing something? Is there any reason to think that Chappy will not be rested, given his history, especially around this time? I was not even considering him purely because of this reason (and I have decent forward bench cover - Davis and Fyfe)

DT Trading Discussion 2010 (Part 6)

Opinions needed!! Team: Backs: Hodge, Goddard, Gilbert, Scotland, Enright, Duffield, Waters (Henderson, Strijk) Midfield: Montagna, Bartel, Boyd, Selwood, Stanton, Trengove (Gysberts, McNeil) Rucks: Sandilands, Cox (Skipper, Warnock) Forwards: Pavlich, O'Keefe, Goodes, Pods...

DT Trading Discussion 2010 (Part 6)

Depends if you want to play risky or not. I'd say if you want to play risky, where the pay-off may be big consider Reiwoldt and Chappy. If you want to play for more consistent scorers - I would go with Daisy or Didak.
