The thing I have noticed with Ryan is looks, at times, disinterested. It might be just perception, like a big guy trying to figure out where to move next. But it seems after the ball is on the move away from him, it takes some time for the brain to be engaged to figure out what to do next.
Typical timeline would mean circa end Jan27 full running if surgery at the end of the season.
From AI
After a shoulder reconstruction, you can typically start jogging or running at 12 weeks (3 months) post-surgery. While it may seem like an "upper body" recovery, running is discouraged earlier...
This perplexed me when I put him into chat gpt. I would have said none of these but... idk
What he does well:
Strong marking when resting forward
Decent size and strength in contests
Can hit the scoreboard occasionally
Theyre both pretty bad in the context of AFL players. On my tigers ranking list, Ryan is #37, OHB is #35.
Ryan for me gets pushed around too easily and cant really contest. OHB has more upside for mine, whilst Ryan has reached the ceiling.
Worried we haven’t got a timeline on Mansell yet. It was 3-4 months in early April, getting match fitness another 3 weeks after that and you’re pretty close to the end of the season. Can’t think he plays 1 or 2 games if he’s available in that timeline.
This is a joke list right?
How in the hell Reid gets 6 votes is beyond me, and Cumming gets an egg.
When the game needed to be won in the 3rd and last quarter Reid went missing.
Ross, Campbell and McAuliffe played high quality for 4 quarters and all deserved better votes.
He spent a lot of time going with Reid, not only CB's but around the ground as well.
Every time Cumming was grabbing pushing Reid off his mark, Reid was constantly throwing his arms in the air and mouthing to the umps.
This kid has grit, and never got pushed around, kept going back for more.
I watched the last half again last night. Concentrated mostly on the Reid matchups, where I could, given the tv coverage and watching on an ipad.
Cumming had responsibility for him most of the time. Occasionally at stoppages it was Ross, Hopper or McAuliffe, but I think those were only lining...
