    My uncle and his mates would bang on about Rod Owen. Played 78 games over 9 seasons for 143 career goals with a bag of 8 against Fitzroy and two bags of 7 against Carlton and North. Found this while looking up this info - what a sad tale.

    I feel we're still trending upwards and a home final should be the expectation. We were only a game outside 4th place last year and we should improve on that this year. Hopefully that extends to a prelim (or Grand Final) appearance. I'm cautiously optimistic.
