Mr. Casson, Just trying to get my head around your example, I'm thinking that the result of flipping exactly 3 tails out of 4 would be 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 x 1/2 = 1/16. (6.25%)
I understand the point you're making and agree, just struggling to work out the 25% probability.
Cheers, Frosty
The 4 dog got bundled over and was unconcious for a while (according to the race caller), it was still on the track as they came back around. There was a suggestion there was a problem with the lure but i'm pretty sure they stopped it because there was no time to get the injured dog off the track.
No free bets. Was told that if i had put a bet on they could've done something for me because they would've changed the odds after the bet was placed. Looks like i'm just Centrebet's new best mate, lol
Haven't played it. Just read Centrebet's terms and conditions, they say if it's an obvious mistake (i.e. one the punter should know is an error) the bet will be cancelled.
Might as well let you know then.
Jim Furyk is paying $34 to win this week but is paying $87 for a top 5 finish.
Can anyone explain what happens in the case of an obvious error in the market, i have just found one and i'm not sure whether it's something one should take advantage of or not. Is it up to the bookmaker to get it right?
What are peoples thoughts on Bryce Gibbs for most marks for the season?
Currently on 148, 7 ahead of Cloke. Paying $2.50 on Centrebet, Cloke is at $1.65.
I know Gibbs has a bye to come but i think he can get enough grabs against Hawthorn and especially against St. Kilda to make it very...
I joined Sportsbet last week, they had a matched initial bet of up to $250. I'm sure that i read that my free bet winnings had to be turned over at odds of $1.90. Just spent 10 mins reading through the free bet terms and conditions and could only see a statement that said "if" a free bet has an...
i'm currently turning over around $800 per week based on the last 3 months. been very slack and haven't kept records on my returns, need to get myself organised very quickly.
