    Was interesting on Trade Radio where Port Adelaide & Carlton openly said that whoever GCS draft, they will be looking to get them in a couple of years when they move home. GCS have no chance.

    I could be wrong but from the surface and reading into reports, we had some interest but I think that we cooled on Duryea as much as him on us.

    The article suggested Carlton see him as a DFA as opposed to trading for him. That shows Newman's value really.

    I don't think it is concerning at all when the player stays at their own club. It is not like a player we targeted changed clubs or chose GWS over us.

    Carlton would probably pay him more (Not ridiculous money, just more) as well on a longer contract. I reckon we would sign him for 1 year at close to minimum wage.

    To be fair, Robinson was pretty good with some of his tagging roles latter in the year. More impact to the outcome of a game than Newman had.

    I am pretty sure we delisted T. Membrey so that he could get to the Saints rather than trying to work out a trade.
