    Deal with it. They would have been as successful away from KP as they have been playing there. Clearly there is a major geographical difference between Melbourne and Geelong and those other examples you bring up. Why have we struggled to beat Geelong AWAY from KP over the last 30 years ?

    People turn up to watch them play at the G. Our supporter base does not turn up when we play at there sadly.

    Fair enough in the sense that may make it fairer on clubs that always play there. However, by playing all their games at KP that will just make Geelong stronger and it would be more unfair according to many of their critics as they have this unfair advantage from playing there.

    Yes the Bulldog victimhood has to shine through somehow. Never mind we get Darcy, Ugle-Hagan and West, along with a few other Father-Son picks over the last 10 years. The point being clubs can regenerate quickly if they do things correctly. Perhaps the Swans is a bad example but whatever.

    We had our own version of this with Ward, Griffen etc and few others a while back, however, this is another example of why losing players is nothing to be overly morbid about.
