List Mgmt. 2014 Trade and Free Agency Targets Thread

I hope the club inquires into Garlett during the trade period. He's obviously had a few off field issues and spent the majority off the season in the vfl, so his trade value wouldn't be too much. He's got a lot of talent, with his pace, crumbling ability and goal sense. A few other...

He must of impressed coming from the ovens and murray league early in the season, to play 9 tac cup games and know to be on a afl list. He looks like he'll take a bit of time to fill out and develop, at least Mitch Wilkins will have a sparring partner in the pre season boxing sessions now.

Joel Tippet http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-10-20/joel-tippett The younger brother of Sydney Swans superstar Kurt Tippett enjoyed another stellar year for West Adelaide, reflected by his selection in the state side. His test results at the recent state combine were nothing short of...

Kayne Turner: http://www.afl.com.au/news/2013-10-20/kayne-turner The skinny, inside midfielder is one of the draft's surprise packets, given how far he has come in 2013. After completing the pre-season with the Murray Bushrangers, he started the season in the Ovens and Murray League before...

    Past #50: Ben Brown - Traded to Melbourne with 2020 #28 + 2021 R4 for 2020 #26 #33 + 2021 R4(Bris) - 130 gms / 287 gls - thanks Ben

I thought he might of requested pick 16 after big bad Leroy Brown, although I couldn't imagine Scott Thompson giving up anything too easily.

    Rookie draft discussion

he's extremely small and light 165cm, 62kg has good speed and a few tricks, but I think he would find it difficult to make an impact at afl level.

Draft analysis from Pykie (and others who know anything)

Pick 30 - I was hoping for Garlett with this pick, also would of been wrapped if Lewis Taylor slipped to Pick 30. I haven't seen much of Dumont, was a bit underwhelming in a few games I watched him play in the champs (although he did have an ankle injury leading into it). From what I've read...

    Pick 30

Which player do you think we'll select with pick 30? I could only fit 19 players into the poll, so I left a few out eg. Nathan Drummond, Cameron Conlon, Mitch Honeychurch, Nick Bourke, Darcy Hourigan, Luke Reynolds, Malcolm Karpany.

who's your source? Dal Santo through free agency, or don't bother imo. Happy too keep Wright. would be a good option imo. Definitely wouldn't trade him for Blair. Collingwood would probably be prepared to give up pick 27 for him, would the club agree to this I doubt it.
