    Lleyton and the foot fault

As a rule I am not the greatest Hewitt fan in the world. I respect his work ethic and determination but he's not one of my favourite players in a sport I follow very closely. Given that Federer is very near the top of my favourites list, I was more than happy with last night's result. Credit to...

    Sam Mitchell is over rated

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Sam Mitchell is over rated You mean when he led the club in raw clearance numbers and in averages over the next best (Crawford) who was getting way more game time? Poor attempt at a troll.

    Bar Jokes...

This guy walks into a bar. As he walks up to the bar he notices a 12-inch man playing the piano, so he asks the bartender, "What's that all about?" The bartender says he will tell him later. Then he asks the bartender for a drink, and the bartender then says, "Before you get your drink you...

    Beaumont is definitely a Hawk

The hits just keep on coming. That whole business of offering Loats another contract makes me think we wanted to keep him but once he said he wanted to leave we just chased whatever for him. Sound logic, unfortunately we ended up with another Mark Graham.

    Beaumont is definitely a Hawk

I would hope we aren't going to use Hunter as the basis of judging trades. I know, that's what I'm afraid of. Yep. Can't you?

    Beaumont is definitely a Hawk

Did you mistype the title of this thread GOALden? Shouldn't it read "Beaumont is definitely a Hack"?

We're a happy team at Hawthorn - um are we?

Falchoon, Didn't he agree to extend that contract by a year when he went to Hawthorn though? Thereby spreading the money over two years rather than one? I thought I read something about that at the time - I'll see if I can find a link.

    Bush coming to Australia

Unsurprisingly that claim is a rehash of someone esles work - Greg Palast. It was Jeb not George but something dodgy almost certainly went on. Click here for the Age's review of the book where Palast gets a mention.

    Bad Eggs

Actually Goalden, most movie prints have mikes visible but the projectionist is supposed to position the film so that they aren't shown. Could be a case of slack work by the projectionist rather than shabby cinematography.

    Bowling for Columbine

It's an interesting piece, some of the satire is great and it raises some important questions. Unfortunately for Moore, not all of them are about gun control. When proclaiming your piece as a documentary, it might be nice if you didn't use cheap editing tricks and some things bordering on...

    Australia v England

Errr, have you ever been to Docklands? There is always standing room there, I've stood there for AFL matches and for the Lions tour. It has nothing to do with the shape of the ground, standing room is allocated at the back of the seats.

    Tossers who knock our players.

The ICC minimum penalty is two years? That's quite a trick considering they don't even have a drug code. The reason the ACB held the hearing is because he tested positive here from ACB testing during an ACB event. It had nothing to do with the ICC trumpeting the glory of our testing regime.

    Tossers who knock our players.

I think you need to read the actual judgement. They stated that the mere presence of the diuretic in system was enough for a case of a prohibited method to be proven, regardless of whether or not it was being used as a masking agent. The dieuretic itself isn't going to do anything to help him...
