Opinion The 'Carlton related stuff that doesn't need it's own thread' thread Part 3

Went to the Hawks/Cats game. Had a great day. Good, exciting footy. Didn't really care who won. I recommend it as a circuit-breaker for other Blues fans. Fall in love with footy again. Watching the Blues is an exercise in frustration and despair.

Autopsy 2026 Rd 4 Carlton vs North Melbourne: What is this sport anymore?

That was text book how to lose a game in the last quarter.

    Position 2026 Rookies

IS there actually a rookie worth picking this week? I feel very big JS and reliability queries over Rogers, Bond, Scerri, Lefau, et al. I guess this is what separates the best from... well, the other category that I'm in.

Game Day 2026 Round 4 Discussion

Oscar Allen doesn't deserve squat. This is Lynch to Tigers again. Captain of battler team decides it'd be easier if he was at the front of a premiership side. Boo, this man, boo.

Game Day 2026 Round 4 Discussion

Let’s go Houst. A cheap, chippie ton would be glorious.

    Opinion 2026 Player X x Y x Z

Fwd and back. Who do we like? With a slight view towards value: Miers vs Kozzie Jaicos vs Sicily Or is there betterer combo for $1,050k or less?

    MCG game 2026

I suspect somewhere in the Ts & Cs it'll say that not only will they not refund the difference, there's a $22.95 fee for asking the question.

    MCG game 2026

Yeh, I spent about $600 more than I wanted to for 3 tickets. Got good seats, though.

    MCG game 2026

Got MCC top deck, near the front, 50 yard line. Pricing brutal but YOLO.

    MCG game 2026

Oof, my friend in the AMEX pre-sale and cheapest seat was $690. At that price it's a clear... Will see if MCC pre-sale is vaguely more reasonable.

Hot Topic Michael Voss - Coaching in 2026. Should he remain beyond that?

Everything you say is fair enough. Given this is the Voss thread, my criticism of the potential selection of those players is more about repeating the old instead of changing anything. One can understand why Voss would be motivated by winning games right now, but the club probably needs to look...

Hot Topic Michael Voss - Coaching in 2026. Should he remain beyond that?

You're probably right. But geez that's a sad state of affairs. Talk about going back to what's not working. Haynes - 33yo. Injury-prone. Supposed to be depth/spare-parts. Saad - 31yo. Fast. But also a brainless, uncoachable turnover merchant. Cerra - 26yo. Talented, but horribly injury-prone...

Hot Topic Michael Voss - Coaching in 2026. Should he remain beyond that?

I have zero doubt Voss is trying his best. He's not good enough.
