That’s an excellent review of Rowy but I also remember him saying after that outstanding 2024 season that he was held together with tape and bandages. A light build and ferocious tackling aren’t the best combination. I wonder if that’s taken something permanently out of him. On the other hand... -

The tag on Heeney was excessive, often holding and blocking, and should have been penalized. How he kept his composure and managed to play such a key role shows yet again how exceptional he is. How lucky are we to get to watch him play every week. -

I don’t get, with a midfield of Grundy, Heeney, Warner, Rowbottom along with Papley and a couple of others to mix it up, that we have too often got belted in centre clearances for far too long. Three coaches with grand final experience and we still can’t work it out. -
