    Picola League footy if they're from Katandra... not a bad standard... but usually a resting place for former Goulburn Valley and Murray league stars wanting coin to end careers. Standard = GDFL so don't expect world beaters. Trying to pick a wooden spooner now is impossible.

    The issue for Newcomb is that they are in breach of the BFL constitution by not fielding an Under 18s. Next year will make at least four seasons without a thirds if they don't get one up.

    Wrong... the under 19 grand final in 1989 was not a replay... The week before the preliminary final replay between Geelong and Richmond was the first game played on GF day 1989... won by the Tigers... The prelim final at VFL park was a draw... no extra time in those days...

    Grovedale entered comp in 1979 and are yet to get beyond a prelim Colac (2001) and GWSP (1989) have both played in grand finals... Leopold entered in 1992 and have got as far as a prelim. Colac won the Hampden flag in 1993, Leopold the Bellarine in 91, St.Peter's GDFL Div One in 1981...
