    would love boak at tigerland, he would be the only player coming out of contract that i would target and we would have room in the salary cap, but geelong will be able to offer a better deal so i cant see him coming here, cotchin, martin, lids and boak is quite the midfield though, stuff dreams...

    just have to make sure we keep drafting well so that when players like tuck and newman retire we have ready made replacements, i think we will be fine to cover newman, but we still need some quality midfielders over the next few years

    i agree, those 4 positions are a must, we need to cut mcguane, and most likely moore, hopefully one or more of astbury, griffiths and elton can fill one of the key positions. with our first two picks this year, we need to target a midfielder and a HFF who can finish.

    wont be until mid season that we really click, we still need vickery and jack to hit top form, dusty to be consistent and to find another key defender to cement a spot next to grimes and rance. until we replace jackson and edwards, we wont take the next step though.

    couldnt agree more, it was a disgrace and he was picked on, caro, hutchy and gary should be ashamed of themselves, i know they are doing their jobs but the way he was made to look desperate and like he was guilty was cruel and unfair.

    i agree, the rankings mean nothing (although he should probably be atleast a few places higher), but those 4 as well as another in and under type will give us a really strong midfield group.

    cotchin, martin, deledio, foley and conca should mean we have someone able to find space and use their talent to hurt the opposition.

    i hate players kicking long to a contest, it means they have taken too long or are not confident in their kicking to hit a target, i cant see morris ever being at an acceptable level but i hope he proves me wrong, he will definitely be around for a while because his competitiveness and hardness...

    Dea confident he's in the mix

    Dea is not a flashy player, he will work hard and the good thing is he makes very few mistakes, can be frustrating because he wont go for the game winning or game changing pass, but he is a safe player for mine, could and should be a really solid player for us.

    hes more american than he is australian and he has the opportunity to win a gold medal with team USA, no brainer really.

    Ellis by a mile, morris cant kick to save his life, if he only handballs or kicks it long to a contest he would be ok, but otherwise he is a liability.

    both, miller is a given, and with king out we need maric in the side, not to say we cant have both of them in the forward line when eligble.
