Imagine we’ll play HOK, Harry, plus 2 x “3rd talls” (Moir & Kemp) plus Hayward, Ainsworth, Motlop. All quite mobile and not dissimilar to Lions FWD line. IIRC - Charlie av 1.5 goals per game this year as did Moir. Moving Charlie on was a good move for Carlton given the return it generated.- Words: 54

Interesting situation Soapy. IMHO we’ve played too tall for most of the last 2 years and Lions didn’t exactly struggle when Hipwood went out. Trend is towards smaller, mobile forward lines - so KPD’s not as crucial as they were. Having said that - not sure what we’d do against Shannon Neale...- Words: 62

Was impressed by Will when he played this year. Hard with composure and great disposal. One of the few players who lowered their eyes when kicking inside 50 and hit leading targets. Hope he can stay at the club in some way.- Words: 42

FWIW - I’ve been saying the same thing for 2 years. Our game style is extremely “labor intensive”!! We have to work so hard for every goal - it really is a slog. And horrible to watch. -

Ordinarily I’d agree. However!!! SPS and Dow were POD’s and ended in tears. Maybe Jagga is the guaranteed outcome and therefore the best option.
