    I am not sure that allowing war chests is a good idea. Whist clubs who manage themselves well will be rewarded, so will those who are successful. Abolishing the compensation ... well it just needs to be fixed. I don't mind the priority picks - but I would prefer it to be all 2nd rounders...

    Ok - so either most of you don't understand it's simplicity - how it fixes the current problems or that there are big injustices in the current system. You may not like complex ...fine - I challenge you to come up with a better simpler system!

    All the players were there, but he was one of the few to really take the time and instruct the kids. Most went through the motions - and no real complaint - they we're fine - he stood out in all ways. he had the ability to instruct as well. Then there is that piercing stare....but with a smile.

    My tidbits ...I took my 3 kids out there. I found the kids clinic was more interesting than the training. We got to get up close to the players. The ones who I saw that deserved a big tick were Ivan, Oleg, Grimes, Lloyd. It was awesome for the kids to be shown a few things by the players...

    Short played his first year as a back pocket and did well. Sure he was not a standout - but I would expect significant improvement from him over the years. He already has great instincts for the game....
