Saw OMs take on the Snow Dogs at the Junction. OMs looked red hot - very slick and skilful and ran hard all day. Won by 6 goals in the end...
Simon Beaumont didn't play so I assume he is still out injured?
do we know whether they actually stacked? I see from the OXFC site that the club tragically lost one of their players overseas in an accident - am sure this shock spurred the guys on given the reference on the site to this in the match review.
bigger result was De La knocking off the Crocs -...
Rooster - congrats to SFX. I see you guys are now into the 4 after thumping Xavs 2 and Uni Blues in the past fortnight! Have you guys now got a few boys back and settled line up or just finding your feet now?
Went and watched the Monash v NOBs game today - a real scrap from the outset but the Blues prevailed leaving the NOBs precariously placed...
Rupo obviously got the job done again - will be tough keeping a lid on it!!
Any results from yesterday?
I know the Crocs beat Prahran to inflict their first loss for the year - about 7 goals in the end.
I also heard OMs beat poor old Mazenod by 20 goals. Means Prahran, Crocs and OMs are all 6-1...
Crocs beat Xavs (2) in the local derby today to continue their roll....leaves them 4-1 and Xavs (2) on 3-2
Also believe OMs beat Scotch by 2+ goals. Apparently a little spiteful as you'd expect between such traditional rivals
I imagine this will be a good game still, but the Menages took the sting out of the OMs and Scotch are 2-2. Not as marquee a match up it seemed a fortnight ago!
Crocs 3-1 and the sleeper as always....;)
not sure if that is true as don't know enough about their past - can say though that from a side with bad depth last year (terrible 2s results for most of the year), Monash lost 6-7 of their best 22 including veteran state players Smith and Gregory. Were always going to struggle....
