Recommitted Joe Daniher 2019 [requested a trade to Sydney - didn't get there]

Given that what he would be traded for draft picks, which are purely potential value, a player who has shown he can perform to a very high level should have a lot of relative value. We would be mad to trade him for anything less than 2 first round picks.

Traded Jake Carlisle [traded w/ #23 and #44 for #5, #24 and Craig Bird]

They couldn't even prove the alleged substance made it into the country, so the case was thrown out there. Hardly a technicality.

Nick Stevens, Port walked him to the draft because Colingwood wouldn't offer anything decent and then went and sine a flag.

I can guarantee you won't get him in the preseason draft, if he isn't gone before our pick we would redraft him!

Traded James Aish [traded to Collingwood for #26 and St Kilda's 2016 second round pick]

What if Treloar ends up in the draft or Carlton decide they would rather Carlisle? I don't think, apart from Treloar, the threat of going to Carlton for nothing holds much weight at the moment.

It's not really that bad an outcome considering some of the players that look like going into the preseason draft. Carlton very well might not take him if Aish or Treloar were there. Your position isn't that good, if you want him you will have to pay and there is no way you will get him without...

Traded Patrick Ryder traded to Port for picks 17 and 37

So you think every pick 5-10 is going to be a win a B&F and be all Australian? In what world do either of these matter when considering the value of a player anyway? The fact is we place a certain value on him and you either meet or exceed that or you won't get him. I'm pretty confident he's...

Traded #30: Patrick Ryder - Returns to the club as Indigenous Player Development Manager

Given his earning capacity outside of football is somewhere between the dole and the minimum wage, I don't think he would be doing the right thing by his family should he retire. His family is what's important after all, isn't it? We can play the emotional blackmail game too!

Traded Patrick Ryder traded to Port for picks 17 and 37

It is irrelevant where Ryder wants to go if we aren't happy to trade him there. If he wants out of Essendon for emotional reasons while under contract I'm sure we'll trade him, but not to our own detriment. You may well end up with him, but only after some pain. Personally I can't see the trade...

Traded Patrick Ryder traded to Port for picks 17 and 37

He won't be playing for us next year, but I doubt he will be playing for Port either. GWS and GC could both compensate us properly and Ryder fits the needs of both, I suspect we are negotiating with both clubs and unless Port come up with something sensible he will end up at one of those two clubs.

Traded Patrick Ryder traded to Port for picks 17 and 37

That's interesting, I was at an event Robo attended post 360 last night and he openly claimed to the audience that Ryder will be going to GWS, most likely for 2 young mids, including O'Rourke. His info apparently comes from the Chairman of GWS.

List Mgmt. 2014 Trade/Free Agency Period

We offered you Hooker and a pick in the high teens, that was overs and we are very lucky you didn't accept it. I think we'd take Gorringe and pick 8 if that was offered, you also have a lot of talented onballers you could trade, not all of them are going to get a decent run.

    List Mgmt. 2014 trade/draft/FA/delistings

I think this trade is likely, everyone is going to try and screw you guys for the players that want to leave and they will try to screw us in trades for Ryder. But not just that, you don't need depth, you have great depth of talent, you need top end established players and we need more talented...

Traded Patrick Ryder traded to Port for picks 17 and 37

You must have missed the part of the Switkowski report where he stated: As well, performance enhancing and image enhancing drugs, their delivery processes, and legitimacy for elite sportspeople, fall well outside my expertise. The Club has invited Dr. Andrew Garnham to advise on this issue...
