2,534 - a disappointing end to the season. Moved up in the rankings but unfortunately not enough to get into the top 5k (5168). Now to start planning for 2026 and make the New Year’s resolution not to get into trade debt again.😎
2,513 - meh score and out in the BF D11 prelim. Needed 2 Hail Mary’s to win. Got the first one (Bergman to LDU trade) but needed English to outscore Bont, which was always a long shot. Ah well, maybe I can sneak back in the top 5k next week and at least salvage some self-respect.
2,781 - once again a vaguely disappointing result given a lot of the scores here. On the plus side, got through the first week of D11 finals but fell at the second-last hurdle in BFC2.
Probably explains how I made it as far as I did! I guess it's poetic justice that I got eliminated with a 2781 when I scraped through two weeks prior with barely 2300.
Yep - got lucky on that one. Watching the SC scores for JMac, Trac and Clarrie creeping up faster than I’d like is not a recommended pastime for those of us with heart issues.
2,796 - my best single round ever (by a lonnnnggg way) and yet still strangely dissatisfying. Wondering what could have been if the likes of Rankine, Daniel and “wrong way” Bergman had actually posted semi-decent scores.
Yeah - didn't mind this one, but the Focus live (Midnight Special) version was absolutely manic. Apparently, the band refused to cut the song short when the producers only gave them a limited block, resulting in cramming a 6 and a half minute set into 4 minutes. Sorta like my SC team really -...
2,593 - finally a score I’m not at least partially ashamed of. My highest for the season so far and into the top 10,000 for the first time this year, plus somehow into the quarters of BFC. Now I’ve just got to figure out how to survive the rest of the season with 2 trades.
2,333 - Bont, Butters (c), Rowell and Dunkley's efforts being sadly compromised by a whole host of underperformers and Touk's dodgy hamstring. Somehow still managed to win all my leagues (helped no doubt by some opponents having both Nic Martin and Rozee).
1879 - too many underperforming premo's which appears to be the trend this week. Rowell, Naicos (C) and I can't believe it's not Butters the few shining lights.
